Join the team powering open-access rocketry education.

Max Apogee grows through mentors, educators, and builders who care about raising the technical bar for students everywhere.

Being part of the Max Apogee team means joining a community of people who believe aerospace education should be rigorous, hands-on, and available to anyone willing to learn. Our volunteers come from diverse backgrounds including professional engineers, university students, hobbyist rocketeers, and educators. What unites them is a shared commitment to helping the next generation develop real technical skills through building and flying rockets. Every contribution, no matter how small, moves the mission forward.

Ways to contribute

  • Volunteer Mentors

Help students review builds, solve design issues, and prepare for launches. Mentors work directly with learners through build reviews, flight simulations, and post-launch debriefs. Whether you have professional aerospace experience or are a skilled hobbyist, your guidance helps students bridge the gap between theory and practice.

  • Curriculum Contributors

Refine lessons, build worked examples, and improve accessibility of complex topics. Contributors help write new modules, review technical accuracy, create practice problems, and develop interactive simulations. If you have expertise in rocketry, physics, or engineering education, your knowledge directly shapes what students learn.

  • Program Supporters

Provide logistics, operations support, or materials that keep programs running. Supporters help with everything from organizing launch events and sourcing build materials to maintaining our platform infrastructure. Every contribution, whether time, resources, or expertise, keeps our open-access mission sustainable.
